Reissue Organist Ronnie Foster was discovered by Blue Note Records after being featured on guitarist Grant Green's 1970 album Alive! he made his Blue Note debut in 1972 with the jazz-funk classic Two Headed Freap. The lively set featured funky covers of Al Green and Wilson Pickett, as well as compelling originals such as "Mystic Brew," which was later sampled by A Tribe Called Quest in their hip-hop classic "Electric Relaxation." This Blue Note Classic Vinyl Edition was mastered by Kevin Gray from the original master tapes and pressed on 180g vinyl at Optimal.
